Lea Romanowski CAFA, AIFD, CAFD is a visionary floral artist and designer with over 30 years of experience redefining creative boundaries. Founder of Designing on the Edge, Lea brings a unique blend of artistry and technical skill to floral and event design, earning her the nickname MacGyver for her talents in carpentry, metalwork, and more.

She is a Canadian Accredited Floral Designer, AIFD inductee (2003), and Certified Floral Evaluator and Judge. Her work has been widely published, and she’s spent the last two decades teaching at Mount Royal University, inspiring future designers with her belief that no idea is impossible—some just need to be built from scratch.
